The PWSTS WW2 Memorial Plaque is located at the Holy Trinity Church at Ingham in Norfolk. This location is registered with the Imperial War Museum London UK National Inventory of War Memorials.

1946 - The memorial service of the Old Boys of the PWSTS who gave their lives in the war was held at St Peter-Upon-Cornhill, London on Wednesday 11th September 1946. The unveiling of the memorial plaque took place at PWSTS Ingham at 3pm on Tuesday 17th September 1946. In 1953 the plaque moved to Dover with the school.

2007 - In May the plaque returned to Ingham. Click here for full details and photographs of the moving dedication service.

He was killed when the Dutch coaster Arizona (393 GRT) struck a mine in the Firth of Forth, near Elie Point on 29 September 1940 at 07.30 hrs. Of the 8 men crew three were saved, five were killed. Among them A.H. Kingsland (AB). The vessel had left Methil Roads that same morning.
