Left "PWSTS" to go on the Port Line, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Europe
etc.
Then transferred to the Manchester Pool, sailed with Furness Withy, on the
Pacific Boats on the US, Westcoast run up to Vancouver.
I then sailed with Belfast Steamship Co Ltd, Manchester, Liverpool,
Belfast run. Also home trade runs with Port line Ltd.

Port Hobart, Port Pirie, Port Victor, Port Napier, Pacific Reliance, and Ulster
Spinner.
Upon leaving the service I worked, on the north western, as a PSV driver. Then
class one tanker and low loader driving. Did a spell with the Manchester
Ambulance Service, then worked for Ilford Ltd, at Knutsford, Cheshire as a
process shift operator.
I then joined The CEGB and worked at various locations ,including nuclear power
stations, in which I worked on the Plant. I finished up as a security shift
leader.
I have now taken early retirement and live just out side Conwy North Wales.
Look forward to meeting and hearing from any of my old mates from autumn
1960/ spring 1961, Class.
