Fishermen and other seafarers were not slow to take advantage of the new facilities offered at the new Seaman's Club recently opened at Battery Green, Lowestoft by the British Sailors Society. Meals are served throughout the day in the restaurant, a corner of which is shown in the lower picture. Top picture shows the billiard room and lounge, an attractive feature of the club.
