PO Box 57
Good memories of the group who spent 4 months in 1956 training and living
together in those formative years. Went to sea with Baker on the Orcades
for two world cruises visited NZ, major impression! Big ships were not my
scene, went coasting for two years very exciting, but very poor $$$. Moved
ashore and after office work in London, ended up in the Paper Industry in
Maidstone, Kent. Moved to Newcastle. UK 1970. Part of a start up crew on
the then fastest Paper Machine in Europe. Emigrated to NZ in 1974.
Retired after 27yrs as a Paper Machine Manager.
Names from memory bank: Dobie, Bell, Williamson, Quinn(oz) Lawrence,
others from Liverpool, Manchester,
London. Refresh my memory.
