Joined PWSTS in January 1974,with fellow islander Chris Drewery. PWSTS was a hard but fair training establishment. Left and joined B.P. after being promoted to leading boy and being presented with the Marine Society award. Fellow class mates that I can remember are Brian Joyner, Alan McCammon. Steve Hirst, Tony Kitchener and Malcom Ross. All good class mates.

Life at sea was interesting, can remember a generator catching fire on one trip and being adrift off South Africa after losing power.

Married with three children

Worked in Radar manufacturing before taking early retirement. (Now restore anything old). excluding the wife.
